What is Forged Wheels
Forged wheel is a production process of wheel hub. Precision technology, high strength and light weight. Because the forging process is complex, the manufacturing cost is relatively high. High end cars generally use forged wheels.
The manufacturing process of forged wheel is: first heat the aluminum block to a certain temperature, press it into a blank with a forging press, and then spin it into shape. After such a process, its molecular structure will become very tight and can withstand high pressure. The forged hub is made of military grade aluminum, which is lighter. The forged hub can also be divided into one-piece forging and multi piece forging. One piece forging means that the whole hub is formed as a whole, with light weight and good reliability. The multi piece forged rim is separated from the spoke type. One advantage of this structure is that the new hub style can be obtained by replacing the spoke. Compared with one-piece forging, multi piece forging will be heavier and have higher requirements for assembly.
